WHUISA MEETING

Held with permission at White Post, Hackney Wick

14/05/2017 at 11.30am 

Attending 4 committee members,12 members and 0 invited speakers. 

INTRODUCTION & UPDATE from Interim Chair. With no objections received Paul accepted the notes from previous meeting held on 8th April 17 as fair and accurate. He went on to explain that: the PayPal account had been transferred to a new bank account and members would be advised at future meetings of balance and expenditure; following the recent SAB meeting it is anticipated that WHUISA will become increasing influential in representing the interests of the fans to the club; association meeting with club is planned for next Wednesday 24th May.

WHUISA MEETING HAMMERS SUPPORTERS’ CLUB 08/04/2017 AT 11AM

Introduction and update from Interim Chair. Paul explained that: Mark Sandell had resigned from the committee; Ali (joint chair) had been unwell and in her absence had been informed on all matters; the Association has 652 members; money collected from members is £1900 and this is banked and to date none of the money collected from members has been spent.

A couple of people have put their names forward for consideration as representatives for supporters with disability; SAB meeting in Jan was attended by the association and notes were circulated; four SAB members are now members of WHUISA; the association achieved a positive outcome with the club in relation to the Lithuanian supporters group securing tickets for the Chelsea match.

SAB MEETING 24/01/2017 LONDON STADIUM.

The meeting was chaired by Karren Brady and Tara Warren. It lasted for about 3 hours. People were invited to ask questions to a panel which included a representative of LS185. Every single email (over 200) from a member who responded was taken to the meeting and i used members information where possible on all subjects raised. The meeting was open, not held under Chatham House rules and there were no non-disclosure agreements.  The club will publish minutes shortly and a full report from notes taken will be published as soon as possible for our members.
