West Ham United: Stadium and website inaccuracies

In recent weeks WHUISA has contacted the club over several errors in their procedures, with several WHUISA members having pointed out website and stadium inaccuracies.

These include:

• The GDPR fiasco

• Incorrect website descriptions of the 60th Anniversary Home Polo Shirt and Home Jacket

• Mis-spelling of our record signing’s name on the big screen

• PA announcer advising at the Wolves game that our next game would be against Macclesfield Town

• Incorrect player statistics on the website for 3 of the club’s new signings

• Incorrect statistics relating to the club’s 3rd kit on the website

• The club website referring to the 1980 FA Cup final as the club’s last major cup final appearance

• Martin Peters on the #50GreatestHammers list is reported on the website as being at the club from 1920-35

• Sunday’s Tweet my Goal Competition was actually scored by Lanzini, not Cresswell

It is disappointing to note so many factual inaccuracies made by the club on the official website and in other areas, and we have asked the club for subsequent improvements.
