WHUISA Committee Election 2019

Are you interested in getting involved with WHUISA?

Elections for our committee will commence on Monday 15th April and close on Friday 26th April via an online ballot. The result of the election will be ratified at the WHUISA 2019 AGM (link HERE). Members will be notified of the details of the election process in due course.

Potential candidates will be able to stand for one of the following positions as per section 4.2 of the WHUISA constitution:

• Chair 
• Vice Chair
• Secretary 
• Treasurer 
• Membership Officer
• Social Media Officer 
• General Committee Positions (total number to be ratified at the WHUISA 2019 AGM)

All those who wish to stand will be sent an email from info@whuisa.org containing a set list of questions. The responses to all the questions will form part of the election process by being published on www.whuisa.org in full and advertised to the membership, giving all candidates the same opportunity to present their case to the membership in the election process.

Candidates will also need to list a WHUISA member as a nominator and another one as a seconder (we will help you with this if needed.)

If you intend to stand as a candidate at the election, please ensure you respond to the questions sent by  info@whuisa.org before the deadline. The deadline for expressing interest in standing in the election, and responding to the questions is 21:00pm on Sunday 14th April.
