The growing influence of WHUISA as a campaigning organisation was recognised with a short spot on Radio 5 for committee member Terry Land last Friday.
Introduced as “Vice Chair of West Ham United Independent Supporters Association” by presenter Rachel Burden on a show that attracts around 5.2 million listeners a week, Land spoke eloquently on the club’s prospects for the season ahead.
As well as enthusing about new £45m signing Sebastien Haller, our Tel expressed the hope we might finish seventh and enjoy a good cup run.
However, somewhat presciently given Saturday’s poor result, Land did express concern the team would likely go out against the League Champions with just three players committed to defending.
